value does not change

Just like a dead person crossing the Ekron River, I too, have to pay heavy taxes to cross over to another dimension! This entrance fee I pay is to enter the world of digital art.

My transit to the digital world we live in today was quite dramatic! Burning my paintings and destroying the original physical form of my art allowed me the transition into the virtual media.

Starting in February 2020 I have been creating a series of original paintings to allow me the transition of my art from the physical form to being viewed for the most part on digital media.

This new world of art opens up a whole new realm of possibilities! This creates a situation where my actual original painting is only part of the creation and not the final stage. The primary experience of the audience takes place in the virtual world, and the discussion surrounding my art revolves around a photo of the original source.

From these virtual discussions arose the idea of literally burning the original canvas after converting the physical drawing to an NFT file.

Each one of my creations have three unique parts- the NFT file,  a video of the physical painting I created going up in flames! Witnessing the video is proof there is only one original source of my work- the NFT file, and urn with ashes of the work.

Artworks burned and uploaded to Foundation as NFT files
